New Legal Chargeback Fee Amounts

All Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Appeals Applicants, Developers and Construction Consultants, and Town of Victor Residents.

As of September 1, 2017, the Town of Victor entered into a contract with Harris Beach PLLC for consulting services as the Town Attorney. Their fees will range from $220 to $250 per hour. This represents an increase over the previous town attorney fees.

The legal fees that are incurred while consulting with the Town Attorney for Planning and Building projects including but not limited to applications pending before the Town Board, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of appeals will be charged back to the applicants of these projects at the attorney-billed rates. The Town Engineer rate of $95 per hour has not changed.

Planning & Building Department Customer Service Changes
Customer service changes have been implemented within the Building Division of the Town Planning and Building Department as a result of external and internal feedback. In order to improve our accuracy and responses to our valued customers, the following procedures are now in effect:

  • If you are a Village property owner, please direct inquiries, complaints, or applications directly to Village Hall by calling 585-924-3311, or email the Village Clerk, or visit Village Hall at 60 East Main Street between 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
  • Inspections may be scheduled by calling the Town Building Department Secretary at 585-742-5035 or the Building Department. Requests for inspections must be received by 3 P.M. for next day appointments.
  • If you wish to meet with an Inspector, Inspector Office Hours are Wednesday and Friday 1 to 4 P.M. or by appointment. Appointments will be made or messages taken for all walk-ins outside of Inspector Office Hours. It is our objective to be available at your convenience. If office hours don’t fit your needs, please schedule an appointment. Inspectors will be in the field or conducting plan reviews outside of scheduled appointments and office hours.
  • Applications for Town properties may be submitted or permits picked up between the hours of 8:30 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.
