Facilities Projects
CURRENT TOWN OF VICTOR FACILITIES PROJECTS:
The Town is currently involved in several facilities projects.
• COURT RELOCATION
The Town Court offices are currently in a leased facility on Framark Drive. A task force headed by Gary Robinson is currently working on the location of permanent facility for the courts. Updates will be posted here when they become available.
• NEW TOWN HALL
Since the successful vote to construct a new Town Hall in April of 2007, the Task Force has continued the work to complete the project. Town offices located at the 85 East Main Street building were relocated to 1290 Blossom Drive - the current location of the Recreation Department - on August 24, 2007. The anticipated move back to the new building is November 2008. Check back for updates on the move and details of the construction of the new Town Hall.
The old building was demolished and new construction begun in October 2007. Occupancy of the new building is projected for late 2008. Check back for updates.
•WELLNESS CENTER
The Town has been working on a proposed Wellness Center and currently town committees are pursuing information specific to location and building plans/cost. Meetings are now scheduled for Mondays at 5:30-7 PM at the Recreation office at 1290 Blossom Drive. More information and any changes are available on the calendar.
