Solid Waste Collection

Solid Waste (garbage, rubbish, and recyclables) is collected on a weekly basis.

Garbage, rubbish, and recyclables:

  • Must be placed at curbside
  • Garbage and rubbish must be placed in heavyweight CLEAR plastic bags, per Ontario County
  • No one bag or receptacle shall exceed 75 pounds total weight when filled.
  • Total collection volume not to exceed 100-gallons capacity.
  • Village Code limits three 32-gallon approved containers per property, per week
  • Improperly bagged or prepared solid waste of any kind or that is frozen to the receptacles or which has been ripped opened by birds or animals or is infested with insects will not be collected
  • All large items such as appliances, furniture, bicycles, sleds, toys, tires, building materials, rugs, etc., will be collected from the curb area only on scheduled days twice a year (See Large Trash Pickup Brochure).

Place Garbage and Recycling at the Curb NO EARLIER Than 6 p.m. the Night Before and NO LATER Than 7 a.m. the Morning of, to Insure Pickup.

Rolloff

The Village of Victor has made available a rolloff for Village resident's use. The rolloff will be delivered by the Village Department of Public Works (DPW) and picked up the next day, unless other arrangements have been made. The rolloff can be used for disposal of household items, construction debris, and household renovation items.

This rolloff can be reserved by calling the Village Hall at 585-924-3311. The fee for the rolloff is $180/day or weekend, paid in advance. The rolloff may also be used for yard waste (no sod), brush, limbs, and tree stumps. If the rolloff is used for this purpose only, the fee is $180, with a reimbursement of $145 after confirmation of the contents.
