Hike on the Finger Lakes Trail in Letchworth State Park
On Saturday, May 14th, Victor Hiking Trails will lead a hike at Letchworth State Park on the Finger Lakes Trail.
Meet at the Victor Town Hall rear parking lot, 85 East Main Street, at 8:30 AM.
Or meet at the parking lot on the corner of Al Lorenz Drive and Murray Hill Drive in Mount Morris at 9:25 AM.
The group will carpool from the parking lot to the Finger Lakes Trail Access point L1 on River Road and hike back to Al Lorenz Park, a distance of about 7 miles.
The trail follows the Genesee River and will pass by the Mount Morris Dam.
- Plan on about 3 hours for the hike
- It can be hilly in some sections.
- Dress for the weather
- Sturdy hiking boots are recommended
After the hike the group will stop at a local restaurant for lunch.
They should be back in Victor by 3:30 PM.

Victor Hiking Trails, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to helping folks get in touch with nature through the creation, maintenance and use of trails, mainly in the Town of Victor. The VHT board of directors meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street. There is parking in the rear of the building and the public is always welcome.
