Guided Hike at Onanda Park and Canandaigua Vista Nature Preserve
Victor Hiking Trails will lead a guided hike at Onanda Park and Canandaigua Vista Nature Preserve on Saturday, July 9th.
Meet at Victor Town Hall rear parking lot, 85 East Main Street, at 8:30 AM or at the Onanda Park upper parking lot, 4965 County Road 16 (West Lake Road) at 9:15 AM.
The hike at the park is hilly with great views of the falls in Barnes Gully.
The hike will include the option of walking in Barnes Creek and exploring the beach area.
Plan on about 3 miles of hiking at the park.
It is a short drive to Canandaigua Vista Nature Preserve.
There are about two miles of open fields and stands of hard woods to be explored, with great views of Canandaigua Lake.
Bring water and a snack, wear sturdy hiking footwear and dress for the weather.

Victor Hiking Trails, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation dedicated to helping folks get in touch with nature through the creation, maintenance and use of trails, mainly in the Town of Victor. The VHT board of directors meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street. There is parking in the rear of the building and the public is always welcome.
