Meet behind the Fishers Fire Station, 7853 Main Street Fishers at 9:00 A.M. The hike will be a total of 5 miles on flat and level trail at an easy pace. For those that want more mileage, the hike will continue to the Domine Trails, adding another mile or two.
A second hike is planned for Saturday, January 8th at Helen’s Way. Meet at 797 Rainbow Run at 9:00 A.M. This is a two mile loop trail through the woods. Depending on the weather, the hike may be extended to Town of Victor property where a new trail is planned. Or the group may go to Mary Frances Bluebird Haven for another easy hike.
For both hikes, bring water, a snack and wear sturdy hiking boots. After the hike their will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments and socializing.
An educational hike is planned for Sunday January 30th at 2:00 P.M. to learn about fine woodworking. Meet at 1:15 P.M. behind Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, to carpool or caravan to D.S. Woodworks, 5365 Cramer Road, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Or meet at the destination at 2:00 P.M. Park next to the workshop. The guided tour will be 1.5 to 2 hours. Due to limited space, the tour is capped at 25. You must register at Meetup/Victorhikingtrails.
With Covid still here, we will follow the current NYS and CDC protocols. Those that are carpooling will be asked to wear a mask while in the cars.
