NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION
SUBJECT TO PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM - FOR THE APPROPRIATION OF SEVEN THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($7,500.00) FOR THE PREPARATION OF A MAP, PLAN AND REPORT TO EXPLORE THE FEASIBILITY OF EXTENDING THE VICTOR CENTRAL WATER DISTRICT TO INCLUDE FIFTEEN (15) PROPERTIES ON COUNTY ROAD 9, LYNAUGH ROAD, AND STATE ROUTE 96 IN THE TOWN OF VICTOR
Notice is hereby given that the Town Board of the Town of Victor, Ontario County, New York at a regular meeting thereof held on March 23, 2015 duly adopted pursuant to Town Law Section 209-c, a resolution subject to a Permissive Referendum, the purpose being to spend Seven Thousand Five Hundred dollars ($7,500.00) for the Town Engineer to prepare a map, plan and report to ascertain the feasibility of providing water services to fifteen (15) properties on County Road 9 (south of the NYS Thruway), Lynaugh Road, and State Route 96 near the intersection of Plastermill Road, properties not currently included in the Victor Central Water District. The expense incurred shall be a town charge and if the district shall be extended it shall then be deemed a district cost reimbursed to the Town and allocated against such district. The Town Engineer will be directed to prepare the map, plan and report after the expiration of a Permissive Referendum unless a petition is filed, subscribed, and acknowledged by qualified Town electors numbering at least 5% of the total vote cast for governor in the Town at the last General Election of State officers.
