VILLAGE OF VICTOR DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS ROOF RECONSTRUCTION
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Village of Victor Department of Public Works Roof Reconstruction will be received, by the Village of Victor, at the office of the Victor Village Hall, 60 East Main Street, Victor NY 14564 until 11:00 a.m. local time on September 17, 2015, at which time the Bids received will be publicly and read.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Village of Victor, 60 East Main Street, Victor NY 14564. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Engineer, Chatfield Engineers, 2800 Dewey Avenue, Rochester, NY 14616, on Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents must be obtained from the Issuing Office, during the hours indicated above, upon payment of a deposit of $75.00 for each set. Bidders who return full sets of the Bidding Documents in good condition (suitable for re-use) within 30 days after receipt of Bids will receive a full refund. Non-Bidders, and Bidders who obtain more than one set of the Bidding Documents, will receive a refund of $75.00 for documents returned in good condition within the time limit indicated above. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to “Village of Victor”. Upon request and receipt of the document deposit indicated above plus a non-refundable shipping charge, the Issuing Office will transmit the Bidding Documents via delivery service. The shipping charge amount will depend on the shipping method selected by the prospective Bidder. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 11:00 a.m. local time on September 15, 2015 at the Village of Victor DPW, 150 Rawson Road, Victor, NY 14564 . Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
