NOTICE OF PERMISSIVE REFERENDUM REGARDING THE TRANSFER OF UNUTILIZED FUNDS IN THE COMPUTER SOFTWARE RESTRICTED RESERVE FUND TO THE UNASSIGNED UNAPPROPRIATED BALANCE IN THE GENERAL FUND
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that on April 24, 2017, the Town Board of the Town of Victor duly adopted a Resolution entitled “Authorization To Transfer Unutilized Funds In The Computer Software Restricted Reserve Fund To The Unassigned Unappropriated Balance In The General Fund” (the “Resolution”); and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that said Resolution is summarized as follows:
The Town Board of the Town of Victor, by said Resolution, approved and authorized the transfer of all funds in the Computer Software Restricted Reserve Fund, in the amount of approximately Fifteen Thousand Six Hundred Forty Seven dollars ($15,647.00), plus any accrued interest to date, to the Unassigned Unappropriated Balance in the General Fund. The Computer Software Restricted Reserve Fund having been previously established for the purchase of certain computer software but which said software was later purchased using other funds and the said Fund was never utilized and the Town no longer has a need for said amounts to be held in reserve; and
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, that said Resolution is subject to permissive referendum – and a petition opposing said Resolution must be filed within 30 days after adoption of the Resolution.
