[ARCHIVED] Town Request for Quotes - Landscaping Consulting Services

LEGAL NOTICE 

The Town of Victor, New York, County of Ontario, will receive quotes for professional services related to general landscaping consulting services for the Town of Victor. A copy of the quote request may be obtained through the Town of Victor website www.victorny.org.  Quotes must be filed with Tina Kolaczyk, Town of Victor, either in person at the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, New York, by e-mail to tmkolaczyk@town-victor-ny.us, or by mail addressed to Tina Kolaczyk, 85 East Main Street, Victor, New York, 14564 and received no later than 9:00 AM. prevailing time on Friday, July 14, 2017.  The Town reserves the right to reject any and all quotes.

Quote Request
The Town of Victor is inviting the submission of written quotations for general landscaping consulting services, including but not limited to the following:

  • Aid Town staff in projects where installation and/or replacement of landscaping is necessary to insure that the landscaping can be installed at competitive prices, and
  • Perform all such duties as are customarily performed by one undertaking the above-described services.

Quotations for said services should be made on a time and materials basis in accordance with an hourly fee schedule. The Town may request a fixed fee or a not-to-exceed fee on any given project, subject to any conditions and exceptions agreed to by the parties. It should be understood that some fees come as charge-backs from the Town to various developers. The selected landscaping consultant will be reimbursed by the Town on a monthly basis. All requests for payment are to be submitted on the appropriate voucher to be provided by the Town.

Please bear in mind that in the past, the Town’s annual landscape consulting needs have been in the range of $3000-$5000.

The selected landscaping consultant shall be required to maintain, at its sole expense, during the period in which services are provided, and provide the Town with acceptable proof of liability insurance coverage with an annual aggregate of not less than $2,000,000 per occurrence, covering acts, errors, or omissions committed or alleged to be committed by the landscaping consultant or any of its subcontractors as a part of its provision of services to the Town.

In addition, the landscaping consultant must agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Town against all liabilities, claims and demands for personal injury or property damages or other expenses suffered or arising out of or caused by any negligent acts or omissions of the landscaping consultant, its subcontractors, agents, or employees incurred in the performance of its services.

Quotations must be received by July 14, 2017 no later than 9:00 AM.
