TOWN OF VICTOR – NOTICE TO BIDDERS – INVITATION TO BID COMMUNITY CONNECTIVITY SHARED USE PATH AND SIDEWALK PROJECT
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to the requirements of Section 103 of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York that sealed bids will be received at the Victor Town Clerk’s office in person or by mail addressed to: the Victor Town Hall, 85 East Main Street, Victor, New York, 14564 for the following:
Town of Victor Community Connectivity Shared Use Path and Sidewalk Project – P.I.N. 4755.95
This project will construct new 7-foot wide sidewalks on High Street and an 8-foot wide asphalt shared use path along Lane Road between Taylor Rise and Canterbury Trail. Crosswalks will be installed at the ends of the project limits to connect to existing sidewalks.
Sealed bids will be received and publicly opened and read at the following place and time:

Copies of the Bidding Documents and Specification Sheets setting forth the terms of the Bidding may be obtained from the Town of Victor for a payment of ($5.00) in the form of a check or money order made payable to the Town of Victor for each set of documents. Cash is not accepted. The payment will be refunded if the bid documents are returned in good condition within thirty (30) days of the bid opening. Proposals must be made upon and in accordance with the bid documents. Bid documents may be obtained from the Town Clerk’s Office, 85 East Main Street, Victor, NY, 14564, Monday – Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. on or after May 21, 2018.
Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total base bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. If an awarded bidder fails to enter into a contract with the Town following notice of bid acceptance, the bid security shall be forfeited to and become the property of the Town of Victor. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the date of bid opening. All Bids submitted must include a Non-Collusive Bidding Certificate pursuant to the requirements of Section 103-D of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
The proposal shall be endorsed on the outside with the Name of the Bidder, the Business Address and Telephone Number to which communications may be sent, and be designated that a Bid is enclosed. Bidders shall not include in their Bid Proposal sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of counties, or cities, on all materials, equipment, and supplies incorporated into this project.
This is a locally-administered federal aid project. There is no Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) goal for this project. There are Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) workforce participation goals of 5.3% for minority participation and 6.9% for female participation. The Town of Victor has been and will continue to be an equal employment organization.
Please take notice:
- Any bid received in the Clerk’s office after 10:00 A.M. on the due date will not be considered.
- Bids received via facsimile or electronically will not be considered.
- Bid proposals must be submitted in duplicate (one original and one exact copy).
- The Town of Victor reserves the right to reject any and all bids submitted and to waive any informality.
